In order to connect laptops, mobile phones, or other wireless devices to your eCarthage internet service, you will first need to install a wireless router. Click here for more information about installing a wireless router.
To connect a device to WiFi, you will need the wireless router’s network name (also known as an SSID) and the router’s password. This information will vary from router to router. Once you have this information, you will need to follow the procedures for your specific device on connecting to the network. This will vary depending on what kind of device you have.
If you do not remember the password for the router, you can attempt to reset the router in order to clear the password. Most routers have a reset button on the back that will restore the router’s default configuration if you hold the button for 30 seconds. Warning: resetting your router will clear any custom settings you have enabled on the router.
Note: eCarthage does not provide technical support for wireless routers and home networking, nor do we have access to router information.
